CHC Announces Inaugural Scholarships for Lean and Six Sigma Certification

Scottsdale, Arizona

Creato announced today the recipients of a new scholarship established by the company to support the advancement of healthcare professionals seeking to become certified in the Lean and Six Sigma methods. The scholarship will be offered each year to two candidates as part of a national competition. The scholarship reflects Creato’s commitment to be good corporate citizens while promoting methods that are critical to the improvement of healthcare delivery services.

Evan Hatchell from El Rio Health Community Center in Tucson, Arizona will be the company’s first recipient of a scholarship for Lean Certification. Mr. Hatchell supports the Health Center’s telephony infrastructure and strategic efforts across seventeen locations in the Tucson metropolitan area serving over 76,000 patients annually.

Glenn Doherty has earned the company’s first scholarship for Six Sigma Certification. Mr. Doherty was previously a winner of the Albert Dent Scholarship from The American College of Healthcare Executives and is currently an analyst with Benchmarking Solutions in San Diego. Mr. Doherty’s previous healthcare engagements included work at Scripps Health and the San Diego Hospitals and Health Services Agency.

Creato will begin offering scholarships each year from this point forward. Interested candidates can complete an online application that will be accessible from the company website, www.creato.com. The online application will be available starting October 1, with awards announced by December 31.
