SAN DIEGO, CA (October 19, 2018)—Creato Performance Solutions has announced the release of COMPASS version 8.0, the latest in a long series of enhancements to the company’s flagship product.
Earlier versions of COMPASS had already received significant industry recognition, including 2 consecutive years as one of the “Top Quality Management Systems,” by CIO Review Magazine and 6 consecutive quarters as a “High Performing” project management platform on G2crowd, a site that collects and curates end-user reviews of common business applications.
COMPASS 8.0 includes features specifically requested by Creato’s most advanced licensees, as well as features designed to sustain the platform’s competitive position in the market. Some of the more powerful features include:
- A simulated project, video tutorial on how to effectively manage projects, and downloadable User Guide is included to help the novice user to immediately leverage and gain value from the platform.
- The system can now launch a method-specific Gantt chart based on whether the project is to be managed via Lean, PDCA, DMAIC, or any other contemporary methodology.
- The “Compass Companion,” a mobile app allowing for access to many COMPASS features is now available to all users at any level of permissions.
“What we hear from licensees is that they want to capture ideas at the moment that inspiration hits them,” suggests Ian R. Lazarus, Creato’s President & CEO. “Now that the Companion has been released, we look forward to deploying many more capabilities to smartphones, whether Android or IOS.”
Together with the mobile app, COMPASS has introduced a new level of user with limited permissions that would enable companies to use COMPASS as a virtual employee suggestion box. This is in recognition that, according to a 2018 study by McKinsey & Company, improvement initiatives are 79% more likely to succeed when staff is given encouragement and ownership over the change.
An incentive program has been established to encourage COMPASS licensees to expand use of the Companion app before year end.
